VINTAGE BRASS MONKEY MUG / PITCHER VINTAGE BRASS MONKEY MUG / PITCHER

This pitcher appears to be new as it is still in a plastic bag and then inside a box. The pitcher is about 5-3/4" tall x 3" wide, not including the handle. The mug holds approximately 12 ounces. The bottom is stamped "Japan" and it has a sticker that reads "Designed and Imported by International Trading Co., Phila. Penna. 19146 U.S.A." It is in perfect condition.
In the World War II era, a "Brass Monkey" was beer and orange juice. Later it was a cocktail produced in the 1970s, 80s and 90s by the Heublein Company that was made from rum, vodka and orange juice. They created a fictional story about a World War II spy as a marketing ploy.

     This vintage Asian style cheongsam dress is made from 100% rayon that drapes seductively over your curves and feels amazing!  The black brocade fabric is very unusual in that it isn't shiny, but has more of a matte finish with a sueded silky texture and sheen.  This provides great contrast for the satiny woven flowers that are brilliantly colored and really shine when the light catches them.  The dress closes on the right side with snaps from the Mandarin collar to the underarm where there is a metal zipper down the side.  The collar, diagonal bodice overlap, sleeves, and hemline are all bound with black with a thin white piping.  The front and back have darts for a close fit and the side slits really show off your legs.  The label is "Ba La Far Made in Hong Kong" "36".  There is a tiny bit of fraying at the top of the side slits, but otherwise this vintage dress is in very good condition.
The measurements are: Bust 36", Waist 28", Hips about 38", Length from the shoulder to the bottom of the hem 37"

     Here's a fabulous psychedelic hostess gown from the late 1960's-1970's that glows magnificently under black light!  It's made from medium weight bright neon acrylic barkcloth that drapes beautifully and can be machine washed and dried.  This dress features a graceful full length box pleat in the back so you can make a dramatic exit!  It has an A-line cut, is nicely fitted with French bustline darts in the front, back waistline darts and a back zipper that is mostly hidden behind the pleat.  The label is "Penneys Hawaii" "Size XS".  This gown is in excellent condition and ready to wear.
     Garment Measurements are:  Bust 34", Waist 30", Hips 37", Length from shoulder 56".

Here is an absolutely stunning 1950's classic Hawaiian mermaid dress with a sexy hourglass fit!  The medium weight cotton sateen fabric is printed in vibrant turquoise, violet and avocado green.  The dress features princess seaming and darts with a metal zipper down the back to fit like a glove.  The neckline is a wide sweetheart style to frame your face, the short sleeves have circular cut lower flounces that are lined in matching turquoise fabric, the dramatic lower ruffle is shaped under the derriere with an inverted "V" shape to hug your curves beautifully, and the front features a full length vertical panel for a slimming effect.  The label reads: "Made in Hawaii for McInerny Honolulu by Hawaiian Casuals".  The measurements are: Bust 34", Waist 24", Hips about 35", Length 52" from the shoulder. There are a few places on this dress where it looks like the purple color has bled slightly onto the white (see the circled area on the last close-up photo).  It is a very faint pinkish color and barely noticeable on this busy colorful print.  Otherwise this garment is in excellent vintage condition.  Incredibly gorgeous!

This fabulous vintage mermaid dress is labeled "Made in Hawaii for McInerny Honolulu by Hawaiian Casuals" and the bold red and white print appears to be a smooth sturdy cotton.  The dress features a flattering sweetheart neckline, princess seams and darts in the front and back for a classic hourglass shape, lined sleeves with full circular cut ruffles, back zip, and a glamorous lower ruffle and "fishtail" hemline that is shaped under the derriere in the back for a dramatic silhouette that is perfect to accentuate hula.  Measurements are: Bust 35", Waist 25", Hips about 36", and Length is about 54" from the shoulder.  There is a tiny dark spot on the back of one shoulder, maybe rust (see photo), but otherwise, this dress is in very good, wearable condition.

This vintage WWII era blue and white fringed Hawaiian souvenir table cloth appears to be made of rayon or silk and features a graceful hula girl under a palm tree in each corner.  It has a bit of yellowing and a few minor dark spots mainly on one corner that do not detract from the piece. It seems to have never been used, but it has creases from being folded for many years.

This vintage mug is off-white/ivory in color and has light crazing all over. It is solid with no chips or cracks. The bottom is plain with no marks as to the maker. Measures 5-1/2' tall x 4" across including the handle. Just the mug is 2-3/4" in diameter. The handle features a lovely, tasteful nude lady that is reminiscent of the Art Deco style.

This heavy pineapple shaped cutting board measures 17-1/2" long x 8-1/2" wide x 1" thick and weighs over 2-1/2 pounds. Very solid and clean with shallow cut marks on both sides from use. there are a few little chips on some of the frond edges. Appears to have been cut by hand. Probably from the 1960's. Rawhide hanging cord. Displays very nicely.
