The bra is gathered at the sides and front and attached to a shaped midriff band. Ties fasten into a bow at the back and the neck straps cross in back and then button onto the midriff band in back. The bathing suit trunks feature waistline darts, a side button closure and undertrunks that have elastic at the bottom of the legs. The wrap-around, shaped sarong skirt has soft pleats at the left side and is attached to a waistband that buttons and then ties on the left. The beach coat (which can be lined if desired) has large patch pockets, side vents at the hemline and extended shoulders.
This vintage pattern appears to have never been used. It contains all of the original unmarked and pre-cut pattern pieces that are in excellent usable condition. The instruction sheet contains detailed illustrations, full cutting layouts, and step-by-step sewing instructions, though it is a bit fragile and has yellowed with age. The colors are bright on the front cover illustration, but the envelope is tattered and partially split along the edges. Pretty good condition overall for a pattern that is about 70 years old!
