#J22
It is believed that Greenstone, which is worn with
respect and is given and received with love, takes on part of the spirit of those who
wear or handle it. In this way it becomes a spiritual link between people spanning time and
distance.
This genuine Maori Greenstone (Pounamu) pendant is made from semi-translucent, two-tone jade from the west coast,
South Island of New Zealand. The angled drop (Toki) shape is traditionally worn as a pendant around the neck or as a single dramatic earring by men or women. Drop measures about 2-1/4"-2-1/2" long x 1/2"-5/8" wide at the bottom widest part. Each drop is hand carved, so the exact size will vary slightly.
